Keep him fit and he'll be a good signing.

Is he good at crossing? Austin is good at heading the ball....
          Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
          And many more mistakes

I know a few fans not happy with signing and want bigger names but we have to remember what signing big names done for us last season. Relegation. We need to buy these players who have something to prove. He has grit and will give everything. Harry brought him for Portsmouth so we know he can do it at this level. We know he is not coming to us for the money. He coming because he believes he has something to offer. Plus we need a squad, not just a team. I wouldn't mind bringing him on when we are winning 1 - 0 away on a cold Tuesday night with 20 mins left.

Fifth new QPR signing in the bag

                        Redknapp said:

“I think we’ll be able to do a deal with Gary today. I had him at Portsmouth, and he’s a good lad.

He can play a few positions and he knows what he’s doing, and he’s also a good person.”
