  • Anyone stayed overnight in burnley?

Not the biggest of games to get the juices going but thinking about an overnight stay in October. I heard burnley was good for a night out? Anyone been & stayed?, no need for a stay in Manchester/Leeds/Blackpool instead reply.

Issue is train tickets saying £82 return at the mo, I thought earlier you did it the better?
Thank **ck thats all over with !!! need a holiday!!!

Not had a night out there, but live quite close and can report it's very 'eastern' round there & deprived in places as anyone who has been before will testify .......

Just finished a night school course with a young Burnley fan, I'll phone him when I get back for a locals lowdown !

For us that would mean around 29k."

Pal of mine went up there last year to meet some people he met on a year abroad. Told em all he was a pilot & bought half the social club a round of drinks for a total of about £20 before rattling some blokes girlfriend out the back by the car park. True story.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Stayed there when we played them first away of season few years back, when we still had the likes of Gallen and Milanese playing. Was with my new bird so pretty much stayed in all night in the premier inn, had dinner, few beers and some good struggle snuggles. Can't say it lookalike it'd be a good night tbh but some of the biggest dumps are the best nights out so who knows
