I don't want to insult you essex folk but I stopped off in a southend service station on my way home from Wanstead.

The petrol station was more like a Citreon saxo showroom.

Unfortunately this ment that when I went into the shop to pay for my fuel it was surrounded with Chav's and Chavette's shouting at the people that worked there over prices. I said to myself i'd never go to that dive again.

Big Dave wanstead is east london, so I jumped on the m25 through the dartford tunnel, past the outskirts of kent and bingo home sweet home.

Same way as Hooper stopped off at Shepherds Bush on the way from Glasgow to Norwich.

So I will ask you again, how did you manage to get to Southend. If you went on the M25 you would of had to come off and go onto the A127 to get to Southend, completely out of your way to get home

Leave it out weare Thurrock service station is 20 odd miles from Southend. Ok its probably not as plush as your Beverley Hills suburb but there are far worse areas to live
