If Adel stays at QPR, he could have one hell of a season again if both Hooper & Crouch sign.

France didn't/couldn't take Remy to the Confederation Cup because of the rape investigation. If he misses too many build up games, he possibly won't be considered.

Also if a team was interested in signing him at this time, I do not think he would have gone to Austria.
In the words of N.W.A "**** Da Police" - They say stuff and this and that but there is no way a multi-million pound player is going to sit around waiting for columbo to come round with his little black note book, cigar filled hand on head. Remy will be gone before the end of this transfer window, his lawyers will make sure of that.

Point Noombero Uno --- Hooper hasnt signed... nuffink offcial until.... blah, blah, blah

Point zee namber douz --- Remy and the gang answer bail 1st September when they will either be charged and bailed, charged and banged up or told "on your way boys...but tread careful"

Now, by some mad quirk of fate, I believe the transfer window to the Prem and Europes elite slams shut (in a Jim "Breeekin Nooz" White accent) at midnight on the SECOND OF SEPTEMBER.
This is due to the 1st being a Sunday.
So, is it not beyond the wit of man that the club, Remy and his "advisors" could be doing deals in principle up until time of charge? He's then free to be whisked off in Tony's Lear Jet to wheresoever he wishes to be banging in sublime goals next. My feeling is he'll go abroad if he's sensible as he'll be tarnsihed no matter IF no charges brought; but he's a baller and so will stay where the dosh is, ie the Prem.

Now I personally hope he has no charges brought and the woman is a maker upper and i also hope point two dont occur as he'd tear up the NPC nut thats only IF he's right in the loaf.

The other scenario is they are charged, bailed and he still plays until the case is heard. This is not one I agree with myself and I think IF charged he should be suspended by the club on zero pay until case heard, if the chocolate and jury say "Not Guilty" then he get's his back pay possibly?

It's a right ol barrel of worms innit?
I need some time in the sunshine, I gotta slow it right down.

Thinking about Remy the person rather than Remy the footballer and just assuming that he's innocent, that's got to mess with your head and affect your game?...on the other hand if he's actually found guilty, that's seriously going to affect your ability to turn up on match days....Remy might not be the answer?

Can't see him staying personally. I think he'll go to Newcastle. Wouldn't be surprised if he's cleared before that. If the evidence was there he'd be inside now. Could have been re-arrested and banged up. But you never know, the police could extend their date again so this might not be resolved even after the first. I think it's ridiculous that they have to take so long whilst someone's life is hanging on it.

The Met said he was bailed until September (not 1 September) so could be anytime between 1-30 September. Unlikely to be 1 September being as it is a Sunday.

remy int playing championship football in the year before a world cup

only thing that could change that is the court case but i suspect he'll still move on

Remy will be desperate to leave. There's no way he'll want to play in the Championship in the season before the World Cup

Queens Park Rangers striker Loic Remy is arrested along with two other men on suspicion of rape.

These are possibly from the same source but they all say September.
