    Mackie off?

    Rumours on twitter that he might be off. Does anyone know anything about why he was confronted by a fan on the pitch on Saturday? what was all that about?

              I know he's not universally liked, but i think we'll miss him.Having said that life goes on does uncle H have a plan??...........I hope so...I really do

                          We've had a mare if we let him go IMO.

                          He might not be as technically gifted as Zidane, but in this league he is the EXACT type of player that you need.

                                  Redknapp doesn't rate him so I wouldn't be surprised if he's sold. I'd be sorry to see him go myself, good, honest pro who has scored some important goals for us!

                                      ^^^ Harry doesn't rate him?! Are you having a laugh? Throughout the season he's gone on about how we need more players like Jamie Mackie! If there's a type of player we're after and that Harry/the rest of the club likes, it's Mackie!

                                          Apparently the fan went over and got hold of him and started having a go at him, then Dezza ran over and told the fan to f off

                                              Harry doesn't rate him? Where did that little gem come from? As for what happened the other night - based on the dogs abuse he gets on here I reckon someone made an unnecessary and totally unfounded comment. Mackie is the last one to be digging out IMO. As above, he may not be ZiZou but you can't knock him fior effort and commitment.

                                                  Would be a bad move to let him go ahead of a Championship season - will be a valuable asset next season, that's his level.

                                                          I'd be gutted if he left, he's everything this club needs. I don't get why he gets so much abuse, he's clearly a striker, not a winger.
