My assumption that Harry doesn't rate him is based on the amount of game time that Mackie got under Redknapp compared to Warnock or Hughes. Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure that Mackie started significantly less games when fit under Redknapp.

It's one thing to commend a players attitude in the press but whether a manager likes him or not is more accurately judged by the amount of time they get on the pitch!

This. I'm not a big fan. His football is bordering on erratic & embarrassing but he has a top class attitude, drive & effort & all of those things in the CCC are vital opposed to the PL.

As above, he may not be ZiZou but you can't knock him fior effort and commitment.
Well any chance to have a dig at Harry

I wasn't digging Harry, I like Harry. I just don't think that he sees Mackie as first team regular.

I honestly think Mackie and some of the others read this forum, everyone on here was banging on about how the team should play for the shirt, when he scored at united he grabbed hold of the badge ran over and shouted at us "Is this what you want!"

I hope he stays, he'd be great for us this season and everyone loves him, what that fan done the other day was bang out of order. Also, he's a striker..not a right midfielder. Headless chicken or whatever at right mid, but a very good striker.

I think he only has a year left on his contract. If we do go back up, I do not really think he will figure much, so the Club might be considering getting something for him now.

We don't half have some tw@ts support our club.

Mackie is a legend - end of.

8 goals in 7 games, Ipswich away, Derby away, Liverpool at home, Blackburn away - he's had some great games.

For those who don't have twitter, the talk is that he is going to Nottingham Forest.

Harry won't rate him but I'm saying now he'll be a ****** good striker in our league
                                Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                                And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO
