I'm happy to stand by what I said elsewhere on our City site.

I always said to this message board that if it comes down to money you'd win, so I'm not ashamed to admit that.

I also said my fellow City fan's view was slightly biased, it was imo, so no slagging of Rangers behind your back from me.

If I'm guilty of anything its in wishing the best for your speedy return to the Premier this season.


If QPR Dave doubts my sincerity in this, there's very little I can do to change his, or indeed, anyone else's attitude.

In my simplistic mind it's fairly obvious; if a player opts to chose a team outside the PL over a side in the PL (assuming both offering first team football) - then it is quite likely it's money motivated - no?

They didn't say, but the first offer was £5m and some papers were saying Celtic would settle for 500k more, so I reckon we've offered that

5m was mentioned as turned down. So reckon now around 5.5-6m only hope really is Norwich pull out but doubt they will as went in with more then that in jan. fingers crossed

Hooper probably wanted to go Norwich, Premier league side and if he does well he might earn himself an England call up and get to play and the world cup... This will be very unlikely if he comes to us. He'd probably have to score 40 goals to even get Hodgsons attention.
