Yeah the others had to put up with him and do the dirty work etc etc but it was his goals and assists and that pretty much got us promoted, do you think we would have gone up without him?Overall yes he was imo, the others have just gone down well with some of us because of their attitudes. Remy and Townsend have been with us for 6 months, i'm talking about the overall past 2 seasons

I just can't understand it myself.
I have watched almost every minute of our games for the last 2 seasons and Adel, with the exception of about 5 or 6 games, has been absolutely terrible. His set pieces are atrocious, he gives the ball away frequently, he clearly rubs his teammates up the wrong way on a very regular basis and he goes missing for large periods of most games. Then comes the off the field stuff, the reports of poor training and lateness, he has been consistently overweight for over 2 years now, worst of all is the constant talking to the press about being too good for the club and wanting to leave.
Why, oh why do we worship this guy? Because he took the mickey out of a league that he is far too good for 3 years ago? The guy is busily wasting every bit of god given talent he has and you lot are sat there applauding him whilst he does it!Last edited by Tarbie; 10-07-2013, 03:55 PM.Comment

have to disagree. yeah his goals and assists were a large chunk of why we got promoted. but what about Kenny's 25 clean sheets? which you can also credit the entire defence for (hill, gorkss, conners, orr, walker)? mackie, derry, routledge, smith, heidar, ephraim all played their part too.

Come on Ginge you must have known all the clean sheets were down to Adel and nothing to do with Kenny. Everytime a shot came in Adel would shout to Paddy what direction to dive without out him doing that there would have been no clean sheets plus how can you forget all the tracking back Adel done he was a proper box to box player.
I cant believe your trying to nick the limelight from Adel for how he not only singlehandedly got us promoted with his goals and assists but also singlehandedly ensured we had one of the best defensive records with his teamwork and effort getting behind the ball.Comment
