That group of players scored 20 league goals between them last season. Take out Remy and Zamora and the rest barely managed double figures, out of 38 games.
Zamora and AJ are constant injury worries - Remy is the only goal getter there. Just a massive lack of goals in the current squad. Cant win games without scoring goals.

The top 6 teams in the championship averaged 70 goals.

May be a few more games but there are about 50 goals missing from the current squad of players - just to get top 6.

I can tell you that there are a lot more goals in the squad than you think: Taarabt, Mackie and Johnson are recognised goal scorers at this level. Remy will score anywhere, Hoilett and Wright-Phillips can score a few between them and defenders will tend to chip in from corners and other set pieces. This is a team that can score plenty between over the course of a season and just because they didn't do it last season doesn't mean they won't do it this season, especially considering the standards are a lot lower this season for defenders and keepers.

Thats good because apart from Remy we are sh1t at scoring goals. Cant rely on them other muppets and i reckon we will have a couple of new strikers by opening game.

CCC last time round Adel got 19, Mackie chipped in with a fair few. Add Remy, Zamora, AJ, then Hoillet, SWP, Jenas to that. Harry's clearly after another striker too i.e. Hooper or another.

Where goals coming OMG have I been sleep and woken up and August 31st and we bought no one and sold Johnson, Zamora, Remy, SWP, Taarabt, Hoilett. Remy scored 6 goals after we bought him in the prem. I championship the above will score goals for fun.
