If Harry is the one that wants him I aint got a problem with it. Of course, everyone tars McClaren with the brush regarding England - but when he was Fergies assistant he was seen as an excellent coach (and who would argue with Sir Alex). As a manager he had a great time with Boro and didn't do too shabbily in Holland either. I'd be surprised if he's up for a coaching job and isn't likely to get anything too senior with Jordan and Bond on the scene - so guess it's Daily Snail BS but still, as a coach the guys record is impressive.

I thinks hes a better coach than manager, should also have decent contacts now in holland, germany and united. Could well be a good addition??

would be great news. gets a bad rap in England, which is understandable.

but across europe a very highly rated coach

Yes he was. Might be some legs in this then.

                            Article now on their website:

Steve McClaren has made a shock return with Queens Park Rangers. Sportsmail revealed the former England manager was being lined up by QPR boss Harry Redknapp.

Why would a decent manager want to be a coach at a championship club? Surely means Harry will be offski at some point next season leaving us with McClaren or Cotteril in charge.
