        You may well be right, but I predict that if a new badge is designed there will be a sizeable number who will be asking for it to be changed almost immediately.
        I'm not sure what "majority" has to do with it. The point is that "many" translates into a lot of dosh. The announcement of the change has come a fair time after Tony's take-over so it would not be unreasonable to assume that he has looked at the books and seen that it makes financial sense to address this area. Even if some people don't like the revised badge, it is highly unlikely it will generate the kind of antipathy the current one has generated, because the issue of being connected to odious individuals is not there.

            Most fans I have seen comment on it on forums don't seem that worried

                I actually prefer the current badge to the last one. If we do change badge hope we don't go back to the last one and would prefer a few options are given to the fans to vote on
