Joey Barton does not want to play for QPR. He will not be up for the fight. He's made all this clear himself.
Therefore I don't want him back.

Exactly v, someone posted last night we didn't compete in a lot of games last season, but the one before with JB in the side we did compete in most games

I think we should make him available on a free transfer IMO. The problem the club has had is having a lot of players that nevery really wanted to play for us and joey is one of them.
He has said many times that he wants to leave and I don't see why we should keep someone that doesn't want to be here.

i thought he was available on a free... the alleged problem is he doesn't want to take a paycut and wants us to pay the difference between what we would have paid him and what marseille are willing to pay him.

my list would be: hill, derry, zamora, the january signings... that is 7 from about 30 players on the books, maybe one or two more but the rest were an embarrassment and showed no fight at all.

so if you guys are mind reading barton correctly the only difference between him and the current squad is that barton is a good footballer unlike the cms currently at the club

Barton has spent the last 12 months bad mouthing us, calling us tinpot and insisting he doesnt want to play for us. That isn't mind reading, that is fact and straight from the horses mouth.

I've posted this before, but some of you have VERY short memories.In a lot of games he was absolutely PONY, his passing especially was woeful.Remember the cheers when he got taken off against Liverpool? All season we've spoken about a split dressing room with players pulling in different directions. Do we really want that poisonous, scouse big-head in there spouting BS and contributing very little on the pitch? GET RID ASAP!

Not going to be a popular view I know, but I think that if Hughes and the board had supported him properly after what was after all, simply a heat of the moment thing, then things may have turned out very differently for us.

But, the board in their wisdom listened to Hughes. Hence we are now in the Championship.

Hitting Tevez was spur of the moment. The violent tantrum after the red card was calculated, thuggish, and subsequently falsely blamed on his teammates. It also led to a 12 match ban, effectively ruling him out of the first squad selection.

How on earth could the club have backed him?

Scapegoat and Barton's antics also not very well recieved by Fernandes either i should think when trying to market us overseas.

Hardly hit Tevez though, did he. Just an understandable, instinctive reaction. What followed was a bit of a horror story, granted. But once again, had the referee exercised the proper judgement, ie. a free kick to us because of the foul and booked both of them, that would not have occurred.
