What's the point of creating global brand in a country like India that their major sport is not football?

Why not be the first? Each country starts somewhere, just because it's not their first sport it doesn't mean they couldn't produce one of the best footballers on the planet. (1 in a million)

India is a massive country and if this club can start the trend, it will grow and could mean we might find some gems out there... you just never know?

Cricket is an English game but the Indian team are one of the best in the sport, why couldn't that happen to football?

Do they have a football league in India?
My old man was the star player for HMP Parkhurst during their successful and unbeaten 77/78 season.
