That's quite weird tbh but if it helps the global brand then why not. The Mittals are from India & it's a huge marketUnder Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
And many more mistakes
LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO -

They've recently joined up with New York ****ees and created a new football (well, "soccer") team that's going into the MLS in a few years.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.Comment

I have no idea mate but would assume that's the idea. Joint marketing / revenue income venture with the hope of producing the odd gem or 2 out of the slums out there.
In fairness they should be half decent if we get em playing, I mean if you can play with a cabbage then when it comes to doing it with a football it would be easy - right?!You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.Comment

Transfer Bosingwa to them and then sell the club to some other idiot, will probably be easier than just selling Bosingwa......Comment

I don't think we will get any players out of it because they don't play football over there.
I think the idea to just get India interested in football and hope that they all watch QPR on the TV..... although their eyes will fade quick watching Park & Zamora trap the ball...Comment

India and Pakistan's aversion (in general) to football always a strange one for me.
Maybe I am totally ignorant and there is a feverish appreciation of the game in those two countries but it's surpressed by cricket.
Yet whenever I play at Goals anywhere in London, Sunday football around West London and talk football in work there's never any lack of Indian's involved --- admittedly mainly with an affinity to Manc's or Cheskoom.
So if this is true then fair play to the club in looking to break new ground in a huge and emerging market.
At least the kits will be cheapI need some time in the sunshine, I gotta slow it right down.Comment
