Not sure if she could be paid off to drop the charges, or if it's now been logged as a criminal case so would have to be heard in September....??Comment

He will get sold with a money back clause and compensation for pre-season waste of time if he gets banged up.Comment

Nothing to be heard as it stands Del.....What i'm not sure about is whether if the police find evidence to prove the case either way whether they charge him before september or clear him.
Or do they wait till the date they have saidComment

Criminal cases don't usually go that fast. In fact they can go on for ages. Lawyers like to make a lot of money, so they drag out these cases for as long as possible.Comment

Although his court date is in september this could drag on well into next year if the courts decide that there is a charge to be faced. Rape charges are notoriously difficult to prove a reason why so many cases like this never reach court im sure we'd all hope he's innocent but if he's not we can only hope justice is done.Comment

What does Harry do in the meantime though?
Does he keep his fingers crossed and assume Remy's innocent, will be cleared in September and lead our front line onto Championship glory or, as no one seems to have mentioned yet, possibly have him found guilty and have another gaping hole at the front until January?
If he goes out and gets a top Championship striker now (so that he can be fully 'gelled' into the team during pre-season), what happens to him if Remy is subsequently found innocent?
It's not just another club that would be taking a gamble on buying Remy now. We are going to be gambling either way if we keep him and not buy a replacement or keep him and buy one.Last edited by padstow; 24-05-2013, 12:43 AM.Comment
