So does Loftus Road currently belong to QPR? or Fernandes' lot? If the Loftus Road site is developed will that belong to QPR? or Fernandes? Will the new ground belong to the club? or remain the property of Fernandes/Mittalls? I am hoping long term the club will have some security ... and that we will not be forever dependant on Fernandes or others of his ilk.

It wont take years as long as the ground is built the same, what we will need to do is make sure that the vocal support is situated behind the goals and put the away support at the top of a side stand. We must use every advantage possible when creating the new atmosphereOriginally posted by vanhoop View PostI like shi*tholes, its football.lads I know from arsenal don't go know more.be lovely to have a cold beer, toilet roll and comfy seat but I have that at Home.don't get me wrong,a shiny new stadium would get me excited but would take years to build back the atmosphere againLast edited by QPRWEBBIE; 16-05-2013, 11:50 PM.

Well it certainly weren't when he was negotiating players contracts.Originally posted by moon_safari View PostThe stadium will be truly amazing and will generate show much income away from football.
This is when phil beard will come into his own.
With the air Asia naming rights the clubs future is looking bright.
Low season tickets will rival teams like Fulham for the floating support .

I would think that as the board purchased the debt it would be an asset but with what money a new multiplex stadium would generate maybe the club would become self funded but would always be owned by someone. Nobody really knows on what basis the club was purchased.Originally posted by vblockranger View PostSo does Loftus Road currently belong to QPR? or Fernandes' lot? So know one really knows...not very transparent is it. Just have to hope that at the end of it all the club is secure. Our one great asset has always been our ground.Originally posted by QPRWEBBIE View PostI would think that as the board purchased the debt it would be an asset but with what money a new multiplex stadium would generate maybe the club would become self funded but would always be owned by someone. Is the land freehold or leasehold?Originally posted by moon_safari View PostWhat will they get for loftus rd, what would be built there.
Best bet is the club build flats there and gain constant income from them ie ground rent on say between 150-250 flats
It would depend which it is I guess.

Yeah, terrible job he's done by sanctioning a new academy and training ground, planning a new stadium, and giving managers money to spend in the transfer market......Originally posted by W12_Ranger View PostYeah know what you mean , these past 2 seasons under his ownership have been truly unforgettable.Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

look at facts Relegated, and a bit of PR chat about a new ground and Phil Beard who by the looks of it should be working for Mecca BingoOriginally posted by QPR Richard View PostYeah, terrible job he's done by sanctioning a new academy and training ground, planning a new stadium, and giving managers money to spend in the transfer market......Football played the Charlie Ferris way

I don't blame the chairman or the board for our relegation. I blame the people responsible for the footballing side of the club ie the managers and players. Fernandes selected two well-respected managers and allowed them to get on with the jobs they were paid to do. Unfortunately they let us and the board down by not doing their jobs.Originally posted by superhoop67 View Postlook at facts Relegated, and a bit of PR chat about a new ground and Phil Beard who by the looks of it should be working for Mecca Bingo
The fact is, Fernandes didn't miss penalties, goal-scoring opportunities, failed to pick up a forward, misplace passes etc etc. the ****** useless players bought by Hughes did.Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.
