Barton refuses to help QPR in the championship

The 30-year-old is enjoying life in France with his loan move set to end and is willing to take a pay cut to help negotiations, but has no desire to play in the Championship

Marseille loanee Joey Barton has reiterated his desire to join the Ligue 1 outfit on a permanent basis, insisting he has no intention of playing in the Championship with QPR.

I dont think HR figures him in the team anyway, just got to get a decent price for him. If Marseille think we just want shot they'll offer f'all for him, bartons doing himself no favours by bleating on like he is.

        bla bla bla...

"There are other clubs interested, I spoke with three or four other clubs. But I'm not interested I'm happy here."

classic barton, that. so uninterested that he bothered to meet with them.

At least he's consistent. He didn't really help us in the Premier League either.

Sell him and move on. No point to force a player to play for us.

This is Joey Barton we are talking about, he will find some way to upset Marseille then he will be back full of excuses saying French football is not all that and he's looking forward to plying his trade in an honest and proper football league like the Championship.

                  Massive Billy ********ter this one.

Let's hope we hold out for a nice big whack for him to recoup what we've spunked on his wages. £5m minimum.

Then we let him rot in our reserves. He is contracted to us, we pay his wages, we call the shots. Simple.

The man is scum he doesn't know how ever so lucky he's been to be a pro footballer and to earn the money that he has. it should be an absoloute privelage but he takes for granted. millions and millions of kids would love to be in his position.

Barton's resentments are toward the former manager, and the background staff has changed since then. It will end up horribly wrong for him until he instills some humility in himself. His is full of false pride and arrogance, needs to take a good honest moral inventory of himself.
