I hear what your saying about having 5 30+ year old strikers on the books but Im not convinced even if there on the books in August they will be in the 25man squad and it would not surprise me to see DJ loaned out as he was this season I he remains. Hulse if out of contract, and I think Bobby and Johnson if they remain fit will do a decent job. Will Betty remain im not so sure although I think there is a god player in him.

And great point about getting the best out of players why is it when a good players comes t Rangers he becomes a bad player over night???? is happened way to often for it to be a coincidence
Like you hinted at earlier, we don't do sufficient research on players then play them out of position or play them in a way that doesn't benefit their game. That's why we aren't getting the best out of our talent. Well, at least it sometimes seems like that anyway.

I want to invest in younger talent, because if we only sign players at the ends of their careers we will have to refresh the squad a lot more often. They don't have to be 18-23 they could be 25-28 and it would be better than the constant targeting of 32 year olds that we have going on.

In an ideal world, we'd get in a Phil Neville and a couple younger lads who aren't for the first team, but can learn from these professionals. Best of both worlds there. But we have not been looking to build for the future, it's constant short term fixes. And it is bleeding us dry. Tony is going to burn out if we carry on like this, i'm sure you'd agree with that too.

I guess right now, it's all hypothetical on who is staying or going. But I'm honestly scared we're going to end up getting in 6-7 players to try and bed into the first team. And I don't want another first day mauling, unless we're handing it out!

I'm pretty sure he's out of contract at the end of this season
            Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
            And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

Considering we're losing Remy and possibly Adel, also Zamora needs his op and AJ can not stay fit, Odem would be a great addition....we'll be mad to pass on him coz he's 32....if the wages are right obviously!

This. The bloke is a proven PL scorer, so why on earth would we turn him down in the Championship?! He would bag hatfuls of goals in that league I reckon. Be a top signing. Plus he comes across as radio rental so he would fit right in at our club.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

If we get him he won't be on big wages, decent but not big, plus if he's willing to drop a division then there must be some hunger in him. Surely some foreign club could offer him top flight football for decent wages so if he still comes to us then to me it signals a good intent.

but WBA are not gonna let Qpr have him on the cheap!

if we can swap players like hoilett for odemwinigie then that reasonable enough!

They all have bags of potential and are great players until they come to us. What is his goals per game ratio over the last 3 seasons?

We need a squad (nucleus) that is going to be together 5 or 6 years instead of part their peaks.
