Jesus, almost 50 responses! Didn't think my thread would generate that much interest... And I didn't say anything too controversial either! A couple of little digs i.e. 'laugh-a-minute road', 'Chelsea don't notice you', (completely true by the way) etc.. etc.. But 50 responses? You lot really do suffer from 'little man' syndrome, don't you? A couple of years, (albeit embarrassing for you), in the prem & you're suddenly above everyone else?
To be fair, I expected some stick, even if I'd come on here full of compliments I would expect some abuse - it's an unwritten rule when you go on to another clubs forum. But, it's the usual bullsh*t. Any affiliation with Millwall & suddenly you don't have an education, you're a thug, you have no teeth??? (seriously)???
Every team has a small percentage of idiots but acknowledge Millwall have a much higher percentage. Having said that, I'm there every other week with my old man & brother & have never been caught up in any violence. We were at Wembley & not involved in any violence.
I'm not a fan of money men coming in to football & trying to buy success & like it or not, that's you at the moment. Not the fault of you, the supporters but you're the latest & therefore, you're there to be shot at. Would I turn down an Abramovich?? NO, but you're the only club, (I can think of), where the money has had an adverse effect & ultimately got you relegated.
It's going to be tough enough for you in the Championship, (for all clubs), but because of the money factor, I think you're in for an even tougher year than you might expect. And the 'we're bigger than you', 'tougher than you' attitude will add to the pressure. You're there to be shot at, at the moment I'm afraid & you floating around like you own the place won't go down well in this league.
Will we beat you? Who knows, I hope so, but accept you're a small club - inability to sell out a tiny stadium in the world's top league is confirmation of that & should be embarrassing for you.Comment

As for the attendances you ain't taking into account if Wigan bring 300 the attendance will only be 16 k .. Nothing to do with our ends chum!!! Look forward to sending you back to league 1 !!!Comment
