Granero and Faurlin CM pairing next season then?

It wasnt so long ago when MOTD was raving about their performance together when we dominated Spurs. They did that thing where they connected the 2 players with a line and showed the understanding between the pair. It was beautiful to watch!

I can only hope Stevie Claridge is equally as adept during his post game analysis!

Wow that does surprise me and he has gone up massively in my estimations for that. I imagined he would be the first to jump ship tbh, what with having spend his career at Real Madrid, the thought of 2nd tier English football is probably about as appealing to him as having Susan Boyle sit on his face.Hasn't set the world alight for us and I know a few people don't like him, but I, personally, think it's clear to see he has alot of talent but needs to learn to get up for a fight abit more. Would be chuffed if he stayed tbh.

I reckon the Championship would toughen him up a bit more, meaning he'll be more prepared for the PL if we do get promoted.

Firstly, loved the Susan Boyle comparison (dread the thought).
Secondly, I would actually like Granero to stay. I think given a run in a settled side, he can be a good player for QPR. He played reasonably well at times alongside Faurlin, but they needed someone to provide some steel in midfield or at least some good defenders behind them.

hmmmm...

granero seems like an ok guy and all that, but the thing is, despite an unconvincing season, granero is one of the few players that we could probably get a reasonable fee for. he's still highly regarded in spain and realistically, with financial fair play rules coming in next season, we could do with first getting the wage bill down and secondly getting some transfer receipts in.

I would want him to stay, way better than Mbia and works well with Faurlin, also he is difficult to get the ball of and more likely to find a qpr playuer with a pass than most of our lot, also best free kick taker

To an extent he had been made to look bad because he wont just give possesion away but holds the ball till he can find a pass, biggest problems is other players not moving and showing for him
