But something clearly went wrong, we spent huge amounts of money and still went down. Making it much harder to come back up.

Tony has to take his share of the blame for that. And if he does so properly the club will be in a much better position.

However Im not yet convinced that he learnt the lesson that lots of money doesnt automatically equal sucess. Would be delighted to be proved wrong.
