Can't tell you exactly, but all I know is we've outlayed a ridiculous amount of money through transfers/wages which we are unlikely to recoup a lot of. We'll also struggle to shift a lot of these players in the championship.

you have to admire FB and BE , how many people have actually bought a club for basically a pound and sold it 4years later for 80 million and made a vast profit . They were also established PL clubs when bought. Slightly different to a newly promted team back in the top flight after 16 years.

I think as long as the debt is manageable and is being managed then we are the same as most other clubs, i think we have to leave this side of things to the owners, i wonder would banks be giving us loans if we were a bad risk?

But this about blaming TF and co for 2 bad seasons............We are not in financial trouble as far as i know, the owners are talking about going ahead with all plans

Hindsight eh. How TF can be blamed for appointing and backing two managers with excellent credentials is beyond me. We are very lucky to have him.

The difference is you're looking at it from the perspective of a fan. When you're running a business every decision you make is vital. If you make a decision you reap the rewards if it's successful but you also have to take the blame if it fails, which Fernandes now has to do. Fernandes can't come out and say 'everyone else thought it would be successful' because thats a complete bs excuse and as chairman of the club he is arguably in the most important position and can't afford to make the wrong choice.

I see what your saying Del, but he employed MH and initially it worked. We stayed up. He then as a result of this backed him to take us to the next level so to speak. This is exactly what you would expect from a chairman.

The fact the manager was completely incompetent, was eventually addressed due to results and he was replaced. TF has done everything within his power to back his managers to try to get success for the club.

It hasn't worked, but the chairman is not the manager. We can blame managers from failures on the pitch, but in my opinion, not the chairman, unless they are interfering with team affairs ect ala FB

The bloke can't win. Cast your minds back to pre season, and we all thought the same as him, we all thought we had a good squad assembled under his ownership. Back then he was the best thing since sliced bread. All of a sudden he's not fit to lace FB's boots? Have a day off. Do you remember anything about FB's chairmanship? The only good thing that **** ever done was stood down, then coincidently the new chairman appointed a manager and stuck with him, backed him and then we saw results. All a while though, FB still wanted to sack NW!

Dont matter how you look at it TF has failed whether on the pitch or off it. Relegated and spent millions but he and the board are more interested in the big prize at the end and thats the multi use venue in the best European city.
