We didn't pay £9 mill for him. Great news get rid of all that lot.

Will be a farking good signing - have no doubts at all he will be a huge success at whoever he signs for. Didn't work out for him at us, as per most of our signings seeing as we are a shambles of a club at the moment, but no doubting the lads talent. Tremendous ball player. Stick him in a team not fighting for their lives and full of mercenaries and he will be top drawer.

$hit players don't get 96 games in 3 years for Real Madrid.

Can't argue with that, get some money back on him while he's still saleable. Waste of wages

''Attacker Bothroyd has made one more appearance than Johnson in the Hoops' doomed campaign, but also got loaned out to Championship side Sheffield Wednesday, and will be on his way when a suitable offer comes in''

Isnt he out of contract in the summer?

Can see Granero at somewhere like Southampton or Swansea. I know he's a good player, maybe not used to relegation pressure though.

Exactly. Wrong player for our current situation. Does that make him a bad player? Nope. Watch him excel at another club.

                      Agree 100%

He is a good player used poorly.

Agree. He is a playmaker not a ball winner, wrong type for a dogfight.

Granero isn't suited for the championship, lightweight. We'll get some cash for him, good player who'll fit in well at either southampton or swansea.

Won't be sorry to see him go.

Had high hopes for him & seen some glimpses of genuine class but as mentioned above right player, wrong club. He's a cultured footballer & in our predicament it's not what we require. If we can get him off the wage bill & get a decent fee back for him then happy days, will not be any good to us in a tough CCC.

Have to agree,Matty. He is a hugely talented player, but looks totally lost in our set-up. Errm, who doesn“t..(most of the time)
