Been a target for a long time as you say. But, trust me, that indian kid aside, no-one is coming in or out of Loftus Road without John and Jim's say so.

Scott this line sort of contradicts what you're saying... yes i agree for footballing reasons, ie players to improve the side, they will be consulted, but i fear there will be another marketing gimmick signing attemp, like this indian guy and if one comes in there is bound to then be pressure to involve him with the first team, otherwise it will defeat the object... that concerns me.

Watson is a great signing though and will make team selection very interesting.

For me i'd have.....Buz.....Faurlin...Watson...routledge if a 4, or put Buz / Faurlin behind Simpson and bring in Rowly or Legs to sit for a 5. But then that leaves Tarabt...?

The Indian dude was a Mittal thing. Remember they have a habit of finding Indian sports stars and trying to make them big hits. Like it or loathe it but thats the way footballing works these days...if you want to be "global". Like Park at Man Yoo..he wasnt brought as he was amazing..he was brought as he was a good player and would help them make millions on shirts in korea

To make the most of the players we have, we need to play 3 at the back and for thise who think its pants and we will get murdered, Bristol City beat us by playing 3-5-2.

I disagree with most on here.
I don't see a place in the side for Rowlands.
The 1st thing I would do it make Watson Captain.
Very good signing and could be the only player capable of grabbing the game by the scruff of the neck. U r's
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

I disagree we need to start being realistic Magilton will play a 4-4-2 something we were all screaming for last season.

When has Buzsaky ever played in the hole for us? He won't be playing CM or RM he might get selected to play LM but what happens when Cook returns? No doubt he'll get his chance to prove himself.

Players have had a chance to prove themselves I feel the likes of Rowlands, Vine & even Buzsaky may not figure much from now on. We have a massive squad at present and some of the crowd favourites will be getting no where near the starting 11.

If rumours are true about Taarabt haaving to start games as part of his loan agreement (which I hope is true). Then this midfield

                    Routledge-Watson-Faurlin-Taarabt

will be very likely if we sign a target man today.

No I think Rowlands is a player we need in the starting XI, he makes a great capt. and has proved it over the years

Yuley I can tell you that Watson is a better player than Rowlands and will have a bright future with us. Making him captain is a must.

Yea I know that Watson is a better player than Rowly, by far. But I think he should still be in the team when he's fit again.

Rowly is not a great central midfielder, in my humble opinion. We saw the best out of him out wide. So either stick him out left, or, controversially, at right back where I feel he is outstanding.

                                It is a difficult one.
I am a Buzz fan and I think we need to find a place for him.
Rowlands has been a very good player for this team but I think he would struggle to get in when everyone is fit.
