I tend to agree with you. He just has a different view of the club.

On the Arry point, he thinks he's a good manager and not great manager and believes we should be winning games by playing more attacking football. Not that blasphemous, I disagree as I think Arry stabilised a shockingly poor team so I've got no concerns. As to whether he is good or great, don't think any poster previously mentioned it so suppose it was pitched for a bite.

As to purchases, marshy thinks too many big earners. Again not that radical, others have questioned the Remy buy.

The idea that no one can be critical of Arry is a bit Stalinist, I recall a few were critical of Hughes in the early days and they were treated like Heathens, not loyal to the great future of us becoming a massive club and we should forget about the small mindset of being a little club we were now going to be top 10 in 5 years time blah blah in our new 40k stadium. MH was untouchable, now like fallen despots his name is dirt and everyone boos him.

For the above reasons, I think Marshy is QPR but in a Captain Kurtz type of way.

I can pull out threads where I was critical of Hughes, where I wasn't saying he was a terrible manager, where I was saying he is just not a good manager at all, that his record at Fulham was poor, and people were getting mad at me. These same people now say MH was a joke.

That's how superficial some of the fans are. If we do manage to go down, the top players leave, and then struggle next season in the Championship, some of these Harry lovers will start saying "wait, maybe Harry wasn't ever a great manager at all, maybe he was a good manager when he had lots of money to spend, but great? Nah". Yet when I say this, I am a "negative" bloke!
