This is a bit of a naive way of looking at it though. Same as Redknapp tapping up other clubs players - 'oh well a journo asked about Parker/Graham/Odemwingie/whoever and Harry just answered honestly'. Nonsense. No, it was not common knowledge, it was speculation. No one had proof how much Bosingwa earned. Unless you have proof that someone did, then show it to us.

If you titled the thread differently you might have got a debate instead of being attacked.

The truth is that, in hindsight, it may not have been the best thing for the club to reveal that we are paying players (plural IIRC) more than the highest earners at Spurs. It plays into the hands of agents all day long.

As Bale earns 70k a week + performance bonuses I am not sure where 65k for Bosingwa comes from. He is either earning more than that, isn't the person Harry first referred to (SWP may earn more) or Harry was a bit off with his facts.
