Harry - "I'm looking for a proven goalscorer"

"I'm looking for a proven goalscorer and someone who can come in and do the job," he said.

"You need three or four strikers. That is the key. Leicester have got four strikers and someone told me they might be taking [Crystal Palace forward] Kevin Phillips. That would give them five.

You need strikers. You can take two off and bring two on and you have got options. When you're struggling with one it's difficult. Tony will get on the phone with Philip and they will do the deals if there are any to be done. I'll leave it to them really.":

Crouch fits the bill - old, used to score, played for HR

Should I merge this thread with "Hitchcock recalled"?
Banning people is no longer my hobby,
but take a look at my photo blog:

How and why did I start supporting QPR in Estonia:

If we're looking for a proven goal scorer then Cole shouldn't even be considered. Going for the quick fix option once again. If looking for a real goal scorer then a certain Mr. Rhodes finished as the highest goalscorer in England last year with 30, 1 ahead of Suarez.

How about Billy Sharp or Adam LeFondre. Both know where the back of the net is and both are in limbo over their futures.

I still don't understand why we didn't take a look at Billy Sharp in the summer!

yes we need two strikers but my two would be wells and la fondra or long if possible.

not carlton ****ing cole or that lampost crouch.

Crouch and Defoe for me, experienced and worked under Harry, would still take Kevin Phillips wealth of experience and knows what it is all about

Realistically though I can see it been Harry Kane and that Scottish forward we have already looked at, we need to remember to be in the real world, we are in the Championship and not in the Prem..... yet !!
