He has 2 other malaysian business men worth what he is worth so they have a combined wealth just short of 1billion. Also the mittals have also opened the purse strings. Its peanuts to these guys and they will make it back through survival.

w12hoops we finally have decent owners that actually enjoy football and yet we love to post negatives. Ok we have a small ground capacity but it's all about survival and not losing out on the gold mine that is the premier league. We hardly have a wage structure like the big teams so signing 4 or 5 on big money won't cripple us. Sometimes we should try and use a little common sense. We have owners that talk to us, what more can u ask. For me these posts have zero trust in Tony and he is trying to change the circus that used to be. Like jeffro said enjoy ffs

Sorry but i dont think its a 'shocking thread'. I remember when the russian at pompey took over and they bought crouch, defoe, johnson etc. They won the fa cup and then went administration and now look where they are.
I just wanted to ask a question to someone in the know to get some reassurance that we wasnt going to go the same way!
