  • Can we win without scorers?

We just lost Fer, are about to see Charlie move on, leaving us -- on paper -- with scoring mediocrity. Polter looks to lack finesse and finish, Mackie is a 100% all in player but not a prolific goal scorer, and JET while quick and interesting is not yet a 90 minute guy. Assuming our defense yields nearly two goals/game, where will the goals come from to allow us to compete?

Personally, the 3 you mentioned won't get us the goals. Mackie and JET not prolific and Polter is untested. We will need a striker in, who they get in I don't know. Always thought Le Fondre would do a job at LR but maybe he might be over the hill. It will all depend if we have the money to spend.

Le Fondre wants to move to a club up north. Used to be handy a few years ago for Reading but hasn't found form since he left them.

Imagine QPR v Cardiff they announce before the game that Charlie Austin has signed a four year deal with the club. haha. Wishful thinking....a QPR man can dream.

Tf is right we don't need a striker . We've got Austin and are paying him a hefty wedge . We only need a striker when Austin goes , if Austin goes . Until that time were fine up top

No of course not... If we don't get the ball in the back of the net the most we'll ever do is draw...

Yeah, he`s had him round for a meal with his family and a game of FIFA, and he`s told him he`s staying.
