  • End of Season Awards

    Vote now: http://www.qpr.co.uk/news/article/qp...e-2422340.aspx

    My choices:
    POY: Charlie (Greeno 2nd)
Goal of the Season: Zamora @ West Brom (never in a million years did I think we'd see one better than Phillips @ Palace but it happened!)
'Only a Ranger!' cried Gandalf. 'My dear Frodo, that is just what the Rangers are: the last remnant in the South of the great people, the Men of West London.' - Lord of the Rings, Book II, Chapter I - Many Meetings.

There should be no awards after the abysmal season thats gone before us, we have nothing to celebrate?
love the Idea of voting for SWP as POTY and for Adel as Gut & rear of the year

Player of the Year: Mauricio Isla - solid without being spectacular. Can't go for Austin (hung his boots up for us in about March), even though he made our season about as respectable as it could've been.

Goal of the Season - Zamora's at Sunderland. Half volley in the top corner with his back to goal.

Can't go for Austin? Hung up his boots in March? he scored a 1/4 of our goals in April. its player of the season not player of the month!

                  bit Harsh.

                    Isla over Austin?

I agree with OP: Charlie just shading Green for POTY & that goal by Bobby at WBA. The technique in that finish was unreal. As good as Phillip's was, I always prefer a technically great goal to a long range hit & hope.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Austin 100% POTY. How can he not be after scoring 17 goals in his first PL season??
Goal of the season for me was Phillips at Palace.

A special price should also go to the QPR fans who attend away matches.

Isla has been awful at the back most the season.. has only ever looked comfortable with Vargas in the side.
