Advice from any drivers on here please?

I can't get something out if my head that happened while driving in Swindon yesterday. I joined a roundabout but misjudged how far away the car coming from the right was and how fast he was going. There was no collision or anything, just the car honking his horn, and we both just carried on. I dont know if the guy in the car hit his brakes. Now I'm panicking that I'll have the police knocking at the door or something. It was a farking stupid mistake to make and I haven't made many of those since I started driving. Anyone had anything similar? What should I expect?

Although we do give way to the right on a roundabout ,if you are at the roundabout first ,you have right of way . It sounds like he was speeding and you were on the roundabout by the time he arrived . If that is the case youve done nothing wrong.
Either way there was no accident ,so i wouldn`t worry about it .You wont hear anything from the OB.

You work in the train industry. Must be dirt cheap for you to travel via train and less stressful too?

I work for TfL so unfortunately, while I get free travel in London, that's not the case for National Rail. Plus, I'll be going straight to Gatwick after the game as I'm going away to Florida for 2 weeks with my daughter, so overall it's easier to drive.

Dont worry or lose any sleep .I have driven the equivalent of about 25 times round the world and more had loads of these incidents never a problem only when the other driver has stopped.

On the subject of driving, I’ve just been lumped with 6 points and a £200 fine for holding my phone while driving.
I’d just pulled away and was about to put it on the dash. It’s only 3 points if you can prove you weren’t using it but apparently thats nigh on impossible to do now, given iPhones are constantly updating etc.
It was quite a fit WPC that pulled me over down in Cornwall and I’m sure she clocked me checking out her mammaries. Not sure if that had any bearing on her refusal to let me off.
