Totally agree, not sure how you can live in America though, I wanted to strangle quite a few when I was out there. Beautiful country but full of nut jobs. I was so pleased to hear an eng accent when I got back it was very strange. Canadians couldn't be more different and so so decentI played sunday league football today.
Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.
I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

All to do with the ball Jim. Basically it's about making the ball swing through the air.
If you notice the, the players polish one side of the ball, and let the other side get roughed up.
The idea is the shiny polished side goes through the air quicker, so the ball veers towards that side....thus swing.
They (the aussies) took out bits of sandpaper down their pants, to rough up their balls
