"There are currently seven billion people alive today and the Population Reference Bureau estimates that about 107 billion people have ever lived. This means that we are nowhere near close to having more alive than dead. In fact, there are 15 dead people for every person living."
The population of the planet reached seven billion in October last year, according to the United Nations. But what's the figure for all those who have lived before us?
The 1800 census shows the population of GB was just under 11,000,000 (inc; 1,100 convicts on their way to Aus) If you was to multiply that fact with every other country, I reckon my old sparring partner Jkc is correct. Plus Hubs is getting his fiction from the fake news BBC
I must away now, I can no longer tarry
This morning's tempest I have to cross
I must be guided without a stumble

i think in this instance, we can rely on the BBC! 107 billion people have lived and died. That's a wow figure on its own.
if I was a gambling man I'd have gone with Johnny, but Hubs is correct. Just by how the worlds population is growing and how quickly our cemeteries are filling up I'd thought the former was right
