Haven't read any of this so apologies if this has already been said, but Diakite looks such a natural athlete doesn't he? I know it's not top notch oppo but his running and movement just looks so effortless, and very good with the ball obviously, high hopes for him this season

Fabio looks like he could be a good right back, hopefully just as good left back as well.

Diakite is proving again why i'm surprised a huge team didn't sign him, he's the best player we've got by a country mile for me

My 1st half assessment:

I know he's popular but I have to say Mackie looked poor against very weak opposition.

SWP played very well I thought and was impressed with him.

Diakite, Adel, Traore are absolute class!!!

Fabio and Johnson looked lively too.

With Hoilett and Park I dont expect Mackie to get much of a look in now. That position did need strengthening. Jamie's an impact sub at best.

Just hope Cisse is ok!

You can't judge players against this opposition imo

We cant judge our defenders and keeper, thats true. But you can assess our attacking players because the opposition are so poor. But at this stage its mainly about getting fitness levels up.
