It looked to me that one of their defenders stood on Burrell's hamstring so I'm hoping it's more of a case of it being a painful knock and bruise rather than a tear. Fingers crossed it's good news on that front in next 48hrs.

Bannan? Seriously thought he was awful, maybe best of a bad bunch for them but most forward passes he played went astray. Give me Madsen over him any day. Checked the stats and proves Madsen more effective:

Not used to not feeling very happy after a 3-0 win. Think condition of pitch getting much worse and players didn’t like the cold much! Only dunne Cook field seemed to play normally… worrying so many going for a scan tomorrow.

Agree - I think we have beed so scarred by Bannens performances against us in previous seasons but today i thought he was pretty ineffectual. Madsen had a better game.

I'm glad you wrote this. I haven't been to a game for over 2 years.

I'd been thinking "Oh good grief, is this what the game's descended into. Scrappy, no skill, both teams packed into 2 thirds of the pitch with no room for flair, or passing.
