Utter garbage. Embarrassing watching that with a few friends. Much of it down to manager.

This game did have Norwich all over it after a good run. I wasn't at the game and didnt watch it because im abroad, but surely this wasn't a game to play two up front. It was a park the bus game to try and get a point. Haydon & Morgan should have started and one up front. Its been said many times we dont have enough beef in our squad for these away games.

Nothing wrong with the Manager, the club, the players, the tactics, the weather, the future…
No complaints; we were just beaten by a better side, on the day. Simples.
MB played really really well, and theyve spent millions over recent years.
Crack on Julien and the lads… we are doing well.

Have to agree after 10 minutes you almost knew what was coming. So 3-1 not a disaster they were a better side end ofOriginally posted by Hope & Faith View PostNothing wrong with the Manager, the club, the players, the tactics, the weather, the future…

That's a cop out... We were unacceptably shambolic from the first whistle and could have been 5 or 6 down at HT. It was very reminiscent of the Cov game, only difference was everything Cov pointed at our net flew in the goal.
I don't agree with changing our formation cos we're playing a certain team but I do expect the manager and players to adapt to the game playing out in front of them and alter our shape/tactics accordingly.
We cannot fall apart every time a team energetically gets after us - the 2nd half of season will feature teams fighting for survival and promotion, all games will be battles. We need to be more resilient and less passive or we will quickly stall and find ourselves going the wrong way in the table.

Agree with Abs. After even a few minutes yesterday, it was as clear as day what was happening. Yet no changes until the 60th minute. And then Frey and Dembele - really??
I'm sure we all want Julie to succeed but what is he thinking? Sure, Boro may be better than us but just to roll over like that - not acceptable.

I sort of like the fact JS didn't show fear and went there with the intention of trying to win the game. But in the real world, setting up to nick a win from a defensive set up may have been better.
I wonder what the reaction would be if we set up defensively to get a point and lost 1-0. Would thrre be complaints about the lack of ambition?

It’s not difficult to see from our defensive stats that we concede a lot of goals, I seriously doubt the inclusion of Hayden would have stopped JCS looking like a statue yesterday or RND for his no show.
Interesting to hear from the fans who continually heap criticism on Stephan’s team selections who starts against more tough opposition in Liecester before the game starts rather than with hindsight after going 2 goals down away at Middlesbrough.

I don't think that Julien should escape criticism of yesterday's performance. Only very partially should he do so because he didn't have hindsight. The game played out in front of him, embarrassingly so, for 60 minutes before he acted.
We roll over far too often. I can't recall hardly any other club capitulating in the same way against us since we beat Leeds 4-0.
Leicester as said, will be a difficult game. Do not start with the same midfield as yesterday. And do not bring on Frey or Dembele.
And I will say it again. Anyone not giving it 100% after 20 minutes, get them off at least as an example.

You clearly don’t like certain players so let’s hear your idea of the best 11 Stéphan should select for the game?Originally posted by daveshads View PostI don't think that Julien should escape criticism of yesterday's performance.
