I've been patiently waiting for a Now sports pass deal to land in my in-box, was beginning to think nothing was coming but got one this morning... £21.99 @ month for 12 months, no contract cancel anytime. Think that's £15 off full whack. Handy for me cos I can't get to any games this month except Cov.

Want us to win as always but as long as we play with energy, effort and aggression with getting the ball forwards early (not hoofball ) and not all this slow walking football , passing it about at the back . I will be happy . Should beat Preston but need to at least match them for effort , come on Rangers.Comment

Hoping for a good lively game and plenty of enthusiasm played in their half and not ours. Let’s get off to a positive start and build some confidence in our new manager and the team. Let’s start winning the games we should then a defeat along the way is more bearable. Come on Rangers!!!Comment

I watched last night's game. Christ, the ref was awful - I'd forgotten just how much a duff or pedantic ref can ruin a game, influence a game or dictate the rhythm. Basically, he had the lowest bar I've ever seen for blowing for a foul - ANY contact was a free-kick. Wasn't helped by players screaming every time someone went near them. The game was high tempo and high intensity (imagine watching one of our games on 2x FFWD!) and ref should've just let them go at it. I mention this as opening round of games normally indicate what PGMOL are cracking down on - seems they've decided footy is "non-contact".
Anyway, we need to ensure that as well as playing PNE today we play the ref too. Dunne as skipper will need to ensure he's taking his verbals right up to the limit with the ref all game and we don't give PNE players cheap opportunities to fall over in our defensive third either. There's no point racing up behind a player on the flank, and laying a light finger on him, he WILL shriek and fall over in a heap and the ref will gleefully buy it.
I don't feel there's much between the teams today, could well see game decided off the back of a dubious or contentious intervention from the ref - could well be that the team that "works" the ref best comes out on top. Alternatively, we could take it out the ref's hands and wallop them 5-0!Comment

Its Saito's 24th birthday tomorrow, so we need to sign him today to be regarded as an academy player which has sell on benefits further down the line. That's my understanding of the situation.
We might get an announcement if the rumour was true?Comment
