They looked very limited at their gaff when we played them, when they were in the final third they seemed more interested in buying a free-kick than heading directly to goal. I recall most of their threat came from free-kicks, long throws and corners. I'd hope we'd be ready for that and we don't gift them opportunities to fall over by making daft challenges when they're going nowhere.
I think we could do with Hodge buzzing about midfield in this game - I reckon he'd be good at cleanly breaking their play up, and springing us forwards into their iffy defence. If we can move through the thirds sharply I think we can really damage them. However, if we start sluggishly I can see them going for the jugular.

First game at HQ for me and my son since the Coventry defeat when Wild Thing was in charge. Just hoping for a win and hopefully a few goals for us. Whatever happens, we MUST score first! Oh and at the end of the game try tapping up Johansen (their goalie)! He is their outstanding player. Wonder if Marti knows him from his Scandinavian exploits? You Rrs!!!

I skimmed through their results - they seem to do better against top half teams. Dunno what that means..... maybe the Big Guns take them too lightly or maybe they get revved up to give the Flash Harry's a bloody nose? Whatever progress we have made recently, our home record is still pants so it does smack of the movable object meeting the resistible force. One thing, you'd hope our league position would prevent us getting delusions of grandeur and we'll recognise them as a serious threat.... get the attitude right and I feel we beat them.
