It's only 'playing out from the back' when it's not going forward. Marti has told the team to keep the ball, you can't play forward unless players run and make space, every team that plays possession based football well move as a unit. We move as individuals, we don't draw opposition players awya to create space for others, we don't work as a team on or off tha ball. Some try, Chair tries to find space, he's always after the ball. Sinclair is immobile setup like this, he's quick buty he can't turn a defender, he can't hold the ball up.

Aside from Sinclair, Colback has been a weak link, every time he gets the ball he is facing our goal and never looking forward, always passes straight back, narro, never looking for width.

We've got to start moving forward as a team with intent.

That was a disgrace by us. No effort , walking football , like an over 50s vets team. Show some desire and be positive . Stokes confidence is shot to bits and we sit back and play walking football. We deserve relegation playing like that.

Armstrong has been great, backline hoofs the ball up field he picks it up gets a free kick and relieves the pressure. Would like to see Frey an SA up front together.

I hope I'm wrong but if SA plays for much longer we will be lucky to get anything out of this. He tries hard but doesn't have the ability to do what is being asked of him and the team becomes all misshapen trying to accommodate him. I hope Marti has a plan B because plan A was woeful.
