As said, it is very similar to last season, including playing Dykes alone up front (Willock is not really a striker and Gray could have at least come on to play alongside the former rather than replace him).
I just wonder how often do they practice shooting in training.
My son often watches Youtubers Billy Wingrove and Jeremy Lynch and their shooting skills. I'm sure that they must use lots of retakes, but the QPR coaches could probably do with using some similar props to set up shooting practice for both set pieces and open play.
Players like Ronaldo, Beckham and Bergkamp to name a few got to the top of their game by practising after normal training had finished. If our players want to reach the Premiership then extra effort will be required.
No idea who those YouTubers are BUT..... think of all the 3' putts a professional golfer misses when they're on back nine hunting down first prize and $1millon. They hole them unerringly on the practice green, could hole them one-handed with their eyes closed probably. Introduce a bit of pressure to perform and they soon buckle don't they?
I reckon it's more about mental strength, self-belief and confidence rather than what you can do poncing about for the cameras or on the training pitch.
Our problem is the same as last season.
A Stat late in the game had Rangers ahead on possession, crosses, and attempts on goal.
But both teams were tied on attempts on target, 2 each.
Our attempts on goal was 19 at the time..
We are always open at the back so unless we take some of those chances we will struggle to win a

Austin had a loss in the family from what I understand. Been a tough 2 weeks for him, and the day before last was the hardest.
Well that might go some way to explaining his fitness levels if he's been away from training and other things on his mind. Clearly Warbs isnt going to disclose personal matters to the public. Lets see where Chaz is in a few weeks.

It is due to the way we play at the back. Every team is pressing us high and they know the likes of Dickie and De Wijs are not the fastest defenders around.
Unfortunately it's the way Warburton likes the team to play.
I know generally the football we play is very pleasing to watch, but this slow, passing from side to side at the back is always likely to lead to errors as teams will press us high.
However, our real problem is not taking our chances when controlling the game. I still think playing with 2 strikers in a 3-5-2 formation will help address this issue. If we start with Gray and Dykes on Saturday and Austin on the bench we just might see us take control of the game early on and not fall 1 or 2 behind before making a fist of it.
Thought we were good once the changes were made, not overwhelmed with the system think we'd be better 4-3-3, may be better, Their Keeper had a miraculous last 15 minutes, and in all probability without Dickies mistake and not having to chase the game may have won it, the goal gave them a massive boost for 25 minutes when they hadn't been in the game, also quite poor on the 2nd goal Brookes runs a long way without a proper challenge going in and poor marking, As someone stated earlier our defence has always been fragile since and before the Breadman came and not really been delt with properly , and we can't rely to keep getting out of jail going goals down, have to start well and take chances early
The wing backs need to be backs foremost then wingers when the play is upfield. We cannot rely on the centre backs to do full back jobs especially against a team with premiership wingers.
