Again Agee , the loanees have played a massive part in getting us to where we are now . Not only have they played their part on the pitch they have also helped other players Flourish , notably Willock , Wallace and Dykes , I thought Dieng , Dickie and Barbet and Chair were already having solid seasons .We have now got to the point where we are no longer over reliant on all 4 of them playing .We will still need to strengthen the squad in a few areas if we are to push for the playoffs next year . It sounds like Field and Jordy are done deals if the club take up the option. I don’t see how we can afford Johansen and Austin , if I had to choose I would go Johansen, I now feel we can get goals from other areas to compensate for the loss of Austin.

If it wasn`t for the loanees, Warburton would clearly have been sacked.Originally posted by Abseits View Post
Fair comment about the loanees. But, today was a dead-rubber game against a team that's now winless in 6. The loanees got us to this position of midtable safety and to a point where we could play relaxing football in the sun with nothing at stake. Before the loanees arrived, many of today's players were putting in ropey losing performances in competitive matches far too often. I would not personally be confident going into next season with our December squad.QPR

Another way of looking at it, the club feels they’ve got the right bloke in and backed him. I’ll admit I thought he’s gone after Norwich game away but we played well got a point should of wonOriginally posted by Shania View Post

it’s probably the first time in quite a while I’m optimistic for next season if he’s backed

This a sound way of looking at it. And like I have suggested so many times before: I feel Warburton and Eustace complement each other so well. Roll on next season..Originally posted by shaggy24 View Post

Just has a chance to watch highlights
- Rob Dickie where that come from?!
- Lyndon brilliant cross and effort for second
- Seny Sending off should never have happened both Boro players offside
- Thought we played ok but far from convincing, same for Boro, typical championship game takes afew moments of brilliance in between the mess and scruff

I watched that a few times and as I suspected watching it live it was offside, can't figure the screen shot thing out but freezing the video there were 2 players off, not many protests though!Originally posted by topperharley View PostJust has a chance to watch highlights

Watch again guys the guy who get the ball is clearly onside, Dieng doing what he did probably won us the game they would have scored,Originally posted by topperharley View PostJust has a chance to watch highlights

A good result from a 'dead rubber' game.
A good performance from the team overall, but well played to the likes of
Dieng good 1st half saves and the foul probably saved an equalising goal.
Lumley good saves too when he replaced Dieng (let's see how he performs in the next few games - he may get offered a new deal).
Dickie scored a blinder from 30 yards and good all round display.
Wallace another good game and winning goal.
Dykes again worked well, no goals, but 2 assists and is looking like the striker we hoped for when he joined.
Johansen showed why we need to sign him on a permanent deal.
