Very impressed with Barnsley , they are a well drilled side , still feel we have a goal in us though but I can see why they are a form team .

Dykes can’t be faulted for effort but he must be able to convert sitters and one-on-ones.

Prob is Bonne is no better at converting, and Kelman looks lost on the pitch. Would sub in Willock for Dykes at the break, and Field for Ball shortly after that.

Everywhere else on the pitch I can’t knock him he’d chase until he dropped but he must improve on taking chances or he’s not going to cut it for us. As for Bonne he’s not had the game time Dykes has had but scored more from open play personally I don’t see him being here all that long and loaned out

Of course it's not ok to just single out one player's misses, but how many has Austin scored and missed compared to Dykes? Austin has now scored 5 from open play in 10 games. That's equal to Dykes' total in 28 games, 4 of which were penalties.

Simple truth is that Dykes is nowhere near good enough for this division on his form so far this season.
