Even with this team we SHOULD be good enough to beat Blackpool but as usual we see so many players not turning up. If they can't do well against a team in a division lower then what chance have they got of getting back in the league first 11.

Of course we don’t know about fitness issues etc, but it seems as though we just haven’t taken this fixture seriously enough. Whatever team we field should be good enough to make a fist of this. Here’s a chance for McClaren et al to show their worth as coaches.

He can't make the players play well though can he. Too much emphasis on the manager and not enough on the ones on the pitch who should be playing better than this
