a) Donetsk was never ever going to happen. Heard that ages ago. Especially on the MH17 anniversary. And the various owners would lose millions if we played them. Powers that be obviously communicated that late to the playing side of the club.

b) great run out, people get too blah blah blah about pre season. It's ABOUT FITNESS, SYSTEMS and ATTITUDE. You can learn as much from tonking a pub team as you can get torn a new bum hole by a great team.

Pre season has nothing to do with the result. Great learning experience today, great for the manager (Les) and the head coach (Chris) to see what shape the lads are in.

i think your being a bit unkind on Harrow Borough there , but fair play to them for offering a game. That really was a Sunday League side!

dunno I was harrow boros selection for under 18s in an England tournament. I think they're quite awful ;) x

I watched a under 21 pre season game (prem league 21s) against a side from the West Midlands Alliance league Div 2 (men's team) That West Midlands Div 2 team would have beaten that Italian side, not having a go at them at all , just putting it in perspective.

It's true. Journalists on the "russian" side (where SD is from) and the American side (where SD is based now) said this was a no go. Was covered a lot on Russian TV and indeed Al Jazeera. All about oil, gas, steel, concrete and PR utter bullsh'##

Went to Donetsk a couple of times in the last Euros and a real shame to see the state it is in now especially the stadium which was one of the best I have been to in the World
