On my way home

[Romford Hoop]

What a performance, one of the best for a long time, the fact that Swansea were top just makes it even sweeter.
They had a few chances first half but never looked like getting back into the game
So pleased for Kone who looked a different player, however they were all brilliant in a perfect team performance.
Credit to JS playing Smyth alongside Kone, Swansea just could not cope,

Perfect win on a really crappy day weather wise.

Unbelievable first 15 min & thought am I dreaming, great all round performance & Swans shell shocked

[SheepRanger]

Kone has deserved previous criticism but im really pleased for him today. Hopefully it's the start of something special for him snd he can play with a smile on his face. Well done to others for the service and strong defensive display.

I posted before the game that I was “hopeful”.
Not that hopeful though.
Let’s keep it going!!!!

They owed us that after the week turn out against Brum...
So many players had a great game but Edwards and dunne really stood out .
Smyth's speed in the 1st half was epic .
Horrible weather , great game .

[lozzer52]

great result and did not see it coming. I thought a defeat. Really love the championship - next week the Saints way is a very tricky one. Lets hope. Smyth is great and I am so happy for Kone-

Its just amazing how we can do well against the better sides and slip up against the lesser sides.

Maybe the lower the tteas are more physicsl and we're a better ball playing team

Amazing all round team performance. Singing in the rain!

How did Saito, Dembele & Kolli play during their 20 mins?????

[Darkranger]

Some of our attacking play is a joy to watch and on our day we're capable of beating anyone.
I did have us down as a win before kick off,I just thought the way Swansea play would suit us. I never imagined such an emphatic victory though.

For me Poku's contribution for our second goal epitomised our performance. I felt he should have got something on the initial cross, but rather than lay there cursing, he quickly got up found a good position and whipped in a superb cross for Kone to score.

How did Saito, Dembele & Kolli play during their 20 mins?????

Saito was quiet apart from 1 superb pass, Dembele looked lively, and Koli was a greedy ####### shooting when the young lad had an easy tap in, he did work for the team though apart from that.

Credit to Swans, they came to play football. They had more ball than us and had a lot of players with excellent technique - they believed they could "out football" us and stuck to their plan. But, they came up against a team that was happy to go toe-to-toe with them and move the ball more directly. Their defence just couldn't get to grips with our slick and precise attacking but our defence comfortably kept them from causing Charles too much bother.

Best Rs performance I've seen in years. Loved the game management we showed in 2nd half where we played comfortably within ourselves to preserve energy and see the game out but still won the half 1-0 and kept the clean sheet.

The icing on the cake would be to hear that Kemper's injury isn't severe and he'll be okay for next week. The Boy done good today!
