De nourre was good for them varane and madsen couldn't get near him .
We were the best team til they scored....
No one where I sit has any faith in nardi , good shot stopper but he won't come out for anything.
Though mbegue should start all day long over a ageing ponderous cook .....

I thougIt Nardi looked his old self today and came out and caught everything that came his way. When did he flap at anything or balls up? I accept he's been rocky this season but I don't feel it's fair to criticise him today.

I'd wholeheartedly rip into Varane though. He's gone from simply being ineffectual to being a downright liability in my view. I thought he had an absolute shocker today, a real stinker.

Nardi scares me every time a cross comes in abs , from where I sit I couldn't really see millwalls goals as I'm close to the school end .
Decent shot stopper but always looks edgy at set pieces .
Agree that varane wasn't at the races , he's got the strength and skill needs to get stuck in a move the ball forward quickly..... De nourre was very good today both varane and madsen didn't want to mix it with him .

Nardi made a world class save tipping one over that was flying in top leftt corner. He came out and saved two one-on-ones with their player clean through: first was given offside and 2nd one they scored on the rebound. He cleanly caught 2 or 3 crosses that came his way, none of them were simple and I cannot remember a single punch/flap or "dodgy" moment.
He was fine playing out from back and I don't recall a single misplaced punt from him either. He really did not put a foot wrong. Honestly, he was one of few bright sparks today in a game where few could claim to have hit their straps.

Think we do need to be a little careful hoops. We aren't blessed with goalscorers, yes Burrell always looks lively against tired players but I'm not convinced he would have the same impact if he were to be a starter. Yes the big donkey is pretty basic but tbh he had a really poor game. He hasn't always been that poor and we just don't have plenty of options but I certainly understand your frustration he isn't easy on the eye

Calmed down a bit now. It’s so annoying watching games that we are more than capable of winning. Wall nothing special and you felt if we scored first then it would be happy days. Even so to start Frey and keep him on in the second half was a mistake, but overall we put in a decent shift so not distraught. Recent success has probably elevated my expectations .

Don’t think many sitting near me in SA Road would agree about Nardi, defence do not trust him, a lot of fans do not rate him, and general consensus is both our keepers need replacing.
