Poor performance, poor team selection from the off, manager totally to blame. We all know Frey is a complete cart horse and him and Kone does not work.
it baffled me that he sent the same team out for the second half.
Millwall are a strong basic team, their centre half is 7 foot tall and laps up the long ball, pace scared them to death but it was too little too late..

Like Oxford it was a laboured performance, Vale was having a stinker and Nardi is a liability.

Reality check again today, especially for the manager, who I thought got things wrong today.

I'm really disappointed. We were well on top 1st half but we need to be much more ruthless Infront of goal. Unfortunately I don't like singling out anyone but Cook looked like an old sluggish man

Yeah for a big bloke he knows how to hit the deck. He's always been a donkey but unfortunately a very inefficient 3 legged one today

No one where I sit has any faith in nardi , good shot stopper but he won't come out for anything.

Think we do need to be a little careful hoops. We aren't blessed with goalscorers, yes Burrell always looks lively against tired players but I'm not convinced he would have the same impact if he were to be a starter. Yes the big donkey is pretty basic but tbh he had a really poor game. He hasn't always been that poor and we just don't have plenty of options but I certainly understand your frustration he isn't easy on the eye

Just watched the highlights and poor CB marking for their first and Nardi did his best to keep it out as last man. Missed header by Cook for the second and even the last line couldn't stop a free header.

If we continue defending like this we've got no chance of the play offs. Neither Cook nor Frey and any pace in them. I saw Frey trying to get to a loose ball and he tried his best, but there just isn't any power in those old legs.

I know Saito was on international duty with Japan, was Burrell away too?

Im guessing the long flights back mid-week may have given injury concerns had they played the full 90 mins?????

Better realistic I know they doing long haul but won’t be sat in cattle class will they most on here if been to Caribbean jet lag still at work next day in Burrell case

I agree, but due to the upheaval to the players routine, I reckon that was the thinking. That's why we have a squad. But Dunne played but less travelling in the week. All guess work on my part of course.

Had we defended better on both ocassions, this level of caution wouldnt get mentioned.

Feel ball just didn’t break for us today. Second goal got a killer tiny deflection from varane i think which is why cook missed it. Crossing wasn’t good enough and for me we played into their hands with Frey up front as encouraged floating crosses. As usual these days wls marks for players miles away from my thoughts on it!
