Then you get a post further down in the thread, I think from Scott(Apologies if I'm wrong) saying it needs at least a few other things to happen for us to get the player.

lol. Actually no. It's just I've seen this time and time and time again. Pete reveals something might be happening, won't say who. People get excited. Then it doesn't happen or who people speculate on doesn't arrive. People then get disappointed then a slanging match starts up. I'm just surprised that people fall for it over and over again. I just don't get how people can again get excited about an unknown that might not happen.

I'll make that my last word on the subject. I'll just wait patiently and see what happens

Yeah mate.Best not to get too hopeful.

The signing of Beckford,Hooper or Jackson are the only things i hope will happen.

Apart from that i will settle for what we have.

Although players like Agyemang,Helgusson,Cook etc. going out on loan or being sold would be a good thing.
