I find it funny that after Southampton and the Sunderland game, that hardly any of the negative posters about the guy had anything to say.

1. He proved he has undoubted quality (He showed this for 90 minutes against Sunderland)
2. He and Park did nothing wrong

Few days later, people saying they would rather Derry and that Mbia has no ability again

What planet are you on, the guy showed he isnt sh1t and he has shown he has potential to get even better

I agree he is inconsistent and has been hit or miss!!! However in general he is a good player and for me needs to start for us!!

On current form he needs to start for us, but only recently has he begun to show any kind of form.

He needs to concentrate on winning the ball and playing a simple passing game.

Far better option than Derry at the moment. If he can keep playing like he did against Sunderland then he'll be immense for us in the run in.

Yeah it's really funny how posters haven't questioned M'bia after his best performance of the season. If he shows consistency then he won't get questioned. Funny how it all works mate.

Pub player for most of the season, watching him (rugby) tackle opponents is scary stuff. Good last 2 games tho since he has been keeping it simple and stopped all those long passes that went astray time after time. Broken up play nicely last 2 games and maybe has formed a partnership with Park that should be encouraged. Hope he carries on the current form and manages to get to the end of the season without another red card. And best not to mention the dives and the faked neck injury....

I still stick by he's a centre back & a good one at that ... HOWEVER, I thought he had a top notch game against Sunderland

Lets not go overboard, there are still negatives to his game like any player.

I do think he had a very decent game last week and seems to play better in a pair instead of a three.
