EXACTLY my thought (spelling correction turned off, i warn you)... i want marshy back, he s a harmless qpr fan no need for banning, this is the democratic republic of north qpr...not a faschist website...deep, ok deep deep down marshy is a good caring fan...and i want him back

He was abusive to the last, he just could not help it, that is why his ban was expedited. Some people just might get carried away sometimes, but to him insulting fellow-posters seems to come naturally. And since then we have received several long e-mails from him that have not done him any favours, either.

I think Marshy improved his manners and was wrongly banned. He did contribute to this forum by posting lots of interesting thoughts and links to news I would not have read otherwise. I do not remember what he did in the past but the last few weeks he was a good poster IMO and therefore he should be judged by that. He probably got infarcations points before but served them so that is in the past.

The last few threads he started were good. Yet people attacked him, insulting him, going offtopic, ridiculed him again and again. These posters did not seem to get infarction points even though they broke the rules. And Marshy was banned. Is that fair? No.

I hope whoever voted for him to get banned did not do so because they disagreed with him or because of all of his threads that got hijacked. That would be a shame and IMO unjust.

Just because Marshy thinks that maybe Mackie should be tested as a CM does not mean it is meant to be inflammatory. If people take it the wrong way it is under no circumstances Marshys fault. To think otherwise is IMO wrong.

People have been far more so, just not for such a prolonged period, or so deliberately.

His own fault he's gone, it's just the manner in which it was done which was distasteful IMO.

The gloating is expected but fairly crass too.
